Having left Genesis the previous summer, Peter’s first solo album arrived in February 1977. He was 26. With legendary producer Bob Ezrin taking charge the intention was to make something more direct and tougher than what had come before. Solsbury Hill was the first single to be taken from the album, though the video you see here was created much later "just messing around at Real World with a painter friend of mine Graham Dean." says Peter.
After Revelation and before Trespass, Genesis release "The Shepherd". Including their new epic "The Movement".
This is what it could have sounded like...
Side One:
- The Shepherd
- Dusk
- Pacidy
- Let Us Now Me Love
Side Two:
- What's The Use?
- The Movement
- Going Out To Get You
Another imagined Genesis album.
In this alternative timeline, Anthony Phillips remains in the band. This album is released in early 1971. It features more of Phillip's 12-String guitar and also more vocals by the band's new drummer Phil Collins.
This is created from demos, unreleased tracks and radio sessions. It has lots of edits and sound correction to make it sound like a genuine album.
Side A:
- Musical Box
- Happy The Man
- Harold The Barrel
- Build Me a Mountain
- Shades of Green
- The Treasure Trove
Side B:
- Harlequin
- Only Your Love
- Silver Song
- Twilight Alehouse
- The Light
